Report Message

Prints a message (prefixed “R:”) to the agent’s output, or appends it to a file.

Generates: a reports promise.

Settings

Setting Required Description
Message Yes The text the agent prints. $(…) inserts a variable, e.g. $(sys.fqhost) for the host’s name.
Report to file No Absolute path to append this message to, instead of printing it. Leave blank to print.
How often No Appending to a file every run grows it without limit. One of: Every agent run, At most once an hour, At most once a day, At most once a week, or Other… and Minutes between runs, at least 1.
